ABOUT GLEN ORRIS
GLEN ORRIS, Q.C. has practised in the area
of criminal law in all levels of courts in
the country. He was educated at Simon Fraser
University in British Columbia and earned his
law degree at the University of Manitoba. He
was called to the Bar in British Columbia in
1973. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in January,
1988.
He is a Past-President of the Vancouver Bar
Association, a former member of the Canadian
Bar Association Executive, a lecturer for the
Continuing Legal Education Society in Criminal
matters, and a discussion leader for the Inns
of Court Project, created by a former Chief
Justice of British Columbia.
Glen Orris has acted as defence counsel for
a number of high-profile cases in British Columbia,
Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and
the Northwest Territories. |
